GMAA Apple Harvest 10K is Saturday Sept 20 at 9AM.

Start and finish at Shelburne Town Beach.

Beautiful, gently rolling course on a mix of gravel and asphalt low-traffic roads. Views of Lake Champlain, Vermont countryside, and even a covered bridge!

Random prize drawing as well as apple pies for age-group winners, and snacks for all runners after the race.

Preregister online for $20 or at the race for $25 (GMAA members subtract $5). Link on bio.

Social run this Friday at FOAM! Gather at 5:50pm for a group photo and run starts at 6pm. The route is out and back on the bike path, various pace groups and distances. Socializing at @foambrewers afterwards.

A fantastic time was had by all at Saturday’s Red Rocks 5k. Over 100 runners finished the course of wooded trails, and runners gathered afterwards for refreshments and awards under the pine trees. Red Rocks 5k course tour: Wednesday at 5:30. Meet at the entrance to Red Rocks Park for a tour of Saturday's race course. Pace will be leisurely. We may tour it twice because it's only 5k.

Saturday August 2, the GMAA hosts the Red Rocks 5k

Saturday August 2, the GMAA hosts the Red Rocks 5k at South Burlington’s Red Rocks Park. This race benefits the GMAA Scholarship. Last year we were able to increase the scholarship from $1,000 to $1,500 because of increased participation in all GMAA races, and the scholarship is $1,500 this year, too. Three scholarships are awarded each year to graduating seniors to help fund their next level of education. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, community service, and contribution to the sport of running. This year’s winners will be announced later this week.

T-shirts will be awarded to age-group winners and the top 3 in the scholars division (age 14-19). See the picture for this year’s design. They come in black or pink. Extra t-shirts will be sold to benefit the GMAA scholarship. Other prizes will be raffled to all registrants. We will have refreshments for all after the race.

A spectacular return of the GMAA's Round Church Wo

A spectacular return of the GMAA's Round Church Women's Run took place today. 36 runners completed the 10k and 49 completed the 5k. Congratulations to all. Below are links to results and photos. The GMAA Round Church Women's Run will take place

The GMAA Round Church Women's Run will take place as planned for the first time since 2022! Race time is Saturday 7:30am. Runners may choose a 5k or 10k distance. Online registration ends Thursday at midnight, and race-day registration takes place at the start before the race.

We are truly delighted to have this special event back, along with the privilege to make a donation to a very special nonprofit: Girls on the Run VT.

The Round Church Women's Run is almost here! 5k an

The Round Church Women's Run is almost here! 5k and 10k distances will be run.
Proceeds benefit Girls On The Run, which promotes fun and fitness for girls from 3rd to 8th grade, and helps them to “learn to embrace their inner strength and make meaningful connections with others.”
Many GMAA members participated in GOTR when they were younger, and many volunteer for this great program today.
